KARAOKE IS RETURNING TO CRESCENT RUN AGAIN!
WOO-HOO! KARAOKE IS RETURNING TO CRESCENT RUN AGAIN!
Singers (and listeners) are invited to return to the Ballroom on
Wednesday, May 12th starting at 5:30 pm.
We know you have probably been singing in your cars, in the shower, or around the house, like
Dick and I have. There will be some “protocols” that have been implemented, but nothing that will
keep us from having a fun night of music.
Tables will be spread out with seating limited to 36 people. Please bring your own beverages, as
no food or drinks will be available for purchase.
We have individual foam microphone covers that will be used for singers. You get with your first
song, and then you keep that with you for the night. You have the option of purchasing it, or keeping it for $1.00, to bring back the next time we get together, OR you can bring the cover back to us at the end of the evening, and we will take them home with us to sanitize for reuse.
Microphone handles will also be wiped down between singers. Hand sanitizer will be available,
and masks are requested for entry, but once at your table, they can be removed.
There will be NO karaoke books to “handle”, so we will take requests verbally. I know many of you
like to sing the same songs, but if you have another favorite you’d like to sing, just ask us, and if
we have it, we’ll add it to your list. We DO have an Adobe .pdf version of our book which is
available. If you’d like to have a copy emailed to you before the 12th, send me a note
at: sheryltupa@gmail.com This can be opened on any phone, tablet or computer. We’re also
working on creating an online songbook, which will allow you to search for songs, save your
favorites, and even submit them to us from your phone or tablet, and they will go directly into our
karaoke program.
We hope to see you on the 12th of May . . . it’s been waaaay too long since we’ve been
together!
